About the Role:

WORLDZ is looking for a Community Director to join our world class team. As the Community Director, you’ll be responsible for growing and cultivating community membership. You’ll establish and maintain high-level relationships with innovators & marketers across all industries.

 

Responsibilities:

Member Growth

  • Create and execute strategies to thoughtfully grow and develop the community, be able to close the sale WORLDZ Passes.
  • Identify potential new members online and offline and leverage existing members that can help grow the community.
  • Utilize existing and new relationships to spread the ethos of WORLDZ by hosting gatherings and meet-ups at restaurants, museums, and membership clubs
  • Establish creative and dynamic partnerships with affinity groups - both professional and cultural to spread awareness & new members (Soho House, NeueHouse, Quintessentially, Art Basel, etc)l
  • Develop and implement WORLDZ evangelist program driving qualified leads and WORLDZPass sales

Member Engagement

  • Cultivate year-round relationships with members both in person and online culminating at the annual summit.
  • Activate the WORLDZ community by hosting gatherings at year-round social cultural and educational events in order to build deeper relationships among the WORLDZ community members.
  • Experience & Events
  • Help design unique on-site experiences and activations for members at the annual summit with help of partners and members
  • Drive year-round event strategy with partners and members driving retention & prospecting

Qualifications/Skills

  • Previous experience building an engaged membership community
  • Previous experience managing a pipeline and reporting on campaign ROI
  • Strong familiarity with the advertising, marketing, media, and technology industries
  • Great sphere of existing relationships across all industries and comfortable cultivating new ones
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; great interpersonal phone and in-person skills
  • Hands-on experience with partnership development and influencer relations
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performance team while being able to think and work independently with little direction
