WORLDZ is on the hunt for a passionate, Acquisition & Growth Marketing manager to join our world class team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating the world of tomorrow and is resourceful and forward-thinking. The Acquisition & Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for ideating, executing, and reporting on integrated marketing initiatives to build audience, drive revenue and provide sales enablement for our annual summits and year-round events. 

Specifically, this role will develop and execute the audience acquisition marketing programs and go-to-market activities for specific events by working with internal teams including Creative, Membership, Programming, and Strategic Partnerships team to achieve company goals. In addition they are responsible for the database upkeep, marketing automation, and KPI tracking on a company-wide level. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Go-to-market: Launch B2B events to the market to drive awareness and audience demand, including product positioning and messaging, planning, creative campaign development, communications (website, social, email, partnerships), sales materials and internal communications.
  • Marketing Program Management: as part of the overall revenue plan, develop and execute programs that drive revenue, increase market awareness, and help educate the startup community about event products.
  • Work closely with key external and internal partners to craft and communicate event attendance value propositions and engage new audiences.
  • Partnerships: Seek out top-notch cultural & media partners to build awareness and drive revenue (Soho House, Quintessentially, Ad Age, Fast Company, Etc) 
  • Execute tactical campaigns against content calendar including developing visual assets, creative messaging, targeted social and email communications campaigns to sell event products.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization and with outside partners to reach goals.

Database  Responsibilities 

  • Database Management: Maintain and develop new strategies to elevate and nurture Salesforce Database
  • Reporting: Maintain and report on KPI’s using internal programs and analytics tools - test, measure, analyze, optimize everything. Be able to present complex issues with clear, concise, and understandable solutions
  • Automation: Set-up marketing automation campaigns to nurture prospects and drive revenue (experience with Pardot, Zapier, ETC, is a PLUS)

Skills

  • 3-5 years marketing experience primarily in B2B event marketing or product marketing
  • 3+ years experience leading database initiatives including but not limited to custom reporting, dashboarding, audience segmentation, and marketing automation preferably on Salesforce and/or Pardot
  • Knowledge of general marketing approaches and how they are used to drive sales behavior including tactical campaign management experience of email, social and display media channels
  • Ability to develop and manage comprehensive marketing plans for a wide breadth of audiences from development of plan, through execution and measurement of success
  • Ability to develop and execute on both broad and targeted creative marketing tactics to grow revenue, increase market awareness and enhance our brand to our core audience
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and influential communication skills are critical to effectively lead and participate on cross-functional teams: provide leadership, develop and manage project plans, prioritize activities
  • Ability to work autonomously with little direction on assigned tasks and communicate efficiently with team members remotely across several time zones
  • Experience with executing campaigns on CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and Pardot (HTML/CSS experience is a MAJOR plus)
  • Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives start to finish, leading strategy, experiment design, all the way through execution to analysis
  • A strong copywriting foundation or the desire and innate understanding of how best to turn a phrase for impact and maximum engagement
  • A unique combination of creative and analytical with a true “roll-up your sleeves” mentality
